Hornets’ Miles Bridges and PJ Washington Out vs. Pistons Tuesday

The already short-handed Charlotte Hornets will be without starters Miles Bridges and PJ Washington when they play the Pistons on Tuesday.

Bridges, who will sit while in health and safety protocols, has been fantastic for the Hornets of late. The 2018 12th overall draft pick has been filling the fantasy stat sheet with nearly 20 points, three triples, and almost a block and steal a night over his past nine.

PJ Washington has been eating up a ton of court time starting in the five spot as Charlotte tries to hold onto the eighth seed in the East. The 22-year-old is averaging almost 36 minutes per game over his past six and has scored in double-digits in each game. Washington is putting up 20.2 a night over that span while providing some shot-blocking in the middle for Charlotte.

With the absence of Bridges and Washington, Cody Zeller and Bismack Biyombo should get a boost. Biyombo should get the start at center with a $3500 price tag at FanDuel, while Zeller will run you $3700. Cody Martin, Caleb Martin, and Devonte’ Graham should also pick up some of the slack.

Over at the FanDuel Sportsbook, Charlotte is a -3 point road favorite and -152 on the moneyline against the lowly Pistons tonight.
