Justin Dunn (Shoulder) Expected To Start On Friday vs. Indians
The Seattle Mariners announced that Justin Dunn would start on Friday since he landed on the injury list with shoulder inflammation on May 29th. Dunn has won only one decision in nine starts this season, but he’s pitched well enough to keep his teams in games, as evidenced by his 3.18 ERA and 1.19 WHIP.
This will be his first time facing the Indians, who will counter with Aaron Civale.

Civale has gotten off to a tremendous start this season as he’s 8-2 with a 3.49 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP. Ironically, his worst start this season was on the road against the Mariners in May when he allowed five runs in 6 2/3 innings of work. Cleveland went on to lose the game 7-3.
This time, he’ll be back in his home park at Progressive Field, and he’s listed as high as a -178 favorite. Sharp bettors aren’t keen on taking the bait as Dunn is getting support as a +150 underdog.
