Los Angeles Clippers Will Rest Kawhi Leonard Sunday

The remainder of the Detroit Pistons’ season is just a formality, so we’ll have to excuse the rest of the NBA for treating it as such. Law Murray confirmed that the Los Angeles Clippers would rest Kawhi Leonard Sunday when they take on the Pistons.

Kawhi has been on a tear recently, going north of 50.0 FanDuel Fantasy Points in three of their last five and averaging 47.4 over that span. With Kawhi out, Luke Kennard figures to make his way into the starting lineup. Kennard has started 10 games for the Clippers this season and averages 11.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. FanDuel has Kennard’s salary listed at $4,200, considering his increased production as a starter and the opponent he’s facing; he’s worth including on DFS rosters.

Patrick Beverley is out, and Rajon Rondo is listed as questionable, which means that Terance Mann could also see increased minutes on Sunday. Mann went off for 42.1 FanDuel Fantasy Points against the Houston Rockets last time out and carries a $5,100 salary on the main slate.

The Pistons play tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers. FanDuel Sportsbook should have a line for tomorrow’s game up shortly after that game concludes.
